In less than six years, SoftScan realized 12,000-plus clients from 15 users at enterprises like IKEA and Orkla. SoftScan was a market leader in hosted e-mail services removing spam and virus e-mails and was sold in 2009 to IT security giant, Symantec.
The Panorama9 founders have always been inspired by servicing in the cloud, or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), ever since launching their first company SoftCom Solutions. While there, they introduced Softcare, a fully remote managed IT solution for small- to medium-sized businesses.
